Local residents have made an ‘extree-mely’ big difference to several Gateshead estates. Dozens of schoolchildren and local groups helped The Gateshead Housing Company and Gateshead Council to plant a mini forest of trees in Birtley, Springwell, Wrekenton and Kibblesworth.
