Building begins in Blaydon.
Keelman Homes Ltd has started work on a new development of 27 homes in Blaydon.*
The two- and three-bedroom houses and bungalows will be situated north of Blaydon Park, near Shibdon Dene.
The site is ideally located just a few minutes away from the A1 western bypass and within a mile or so of the Metrocentre. The Blaydon shopping centre is a few minutes’ walk away from the site and features Morrisons, Boots, B&M, Costa and a host of other high street names.
Works began on 10 June 2019 as part of a wider development of 183 homes. From their elevated position, these new homes will offer spectacular views overlooking many acres of open countryside.
The properties will be finished to a high specification, featuring quality kitchens with oven hob and cooker hood, and ceramic tiled bathrooms with over-bath shower and glass screen. Flooring is included in the bathrooms and kitchens. The homes will have a fresh white paint finish throughout, economical gas central heating, external rear lighting and off-road parking.
Three different tenures are being offered to suit various needs, including five shared ownership homes and four Rent to Buy homes. The remaining 18 houses will be available to rent.
